It only takes 45 minutes to get to Queenstown from Glenorchy via car, and it is touted to be one of the most scenic drives in the entire world! It is about 45 kilometers (or 28 miles) of pure New Zealand views.

We provide transport on all our tours, or there are guided tours available such as Altitude Tours. Their half day Glenorchy Scenic Tour is a perfect combo with an afternoon Dart River Jet Boat adventure!

If you have a car, and prefer taking your own transport over the provided tour, the drive is a simple one right along Glenorchy-Queenstown Rd. We are approximately 45 minutes along Lake Wakatipu.
